Apartment balconies that are external to the building are required to be kept tidy.

Signs or advertising cannot be displayed.

Clothing may be hung from a rack or clothes horse but cannot be hung from balustrade railings.

If you are watering plants or cleaning your balcony, be conscious that your balcony may drain onto someone else’s or onto the footpath below.

Only gas or electric barbecues are permitted on balconies.
Solid-fuel barbecues are not permitted.
